Travel question

My husband and I were discussing plans for me for the next year+ and this topic came up.

How do you folks handle travel to the shows, classes and hammer ins?

He is thinking based on my pending travels it may be worth looking at a good used smaller class C motor home. So I figured I'd ask you folks here- see if theres any leanings one way or another. (air travel+ hotels verses road trips+ hotel or self contained travel).

Thanks in advance.

Julie

I have reached a point that I won't fly unless I absolutely have to. For me, that means Las Vegas or California shows.

I much prefer to drive, and stay in the headquarters hotel (where many of my friends are). That way, I don't have to worry about shipping or checking my knives, I don't have to rent a car, I don't have to endure the endless hassles of airport security (I can even leave my knife in my pocket!).

Although I do see an occasional motor home at the odd show, I think most folks opt for staying with the other people in the hotel.

My personal rule is that, if I can get there in two days or less by driving, that's the way I go.
