Unusual Swedish folding knife on Ebay

That's a Barrel Knife and the wood is likely to be Curly Birch. I believe that company closed about 80 years ago. I just googled the company that made the knife, nice shape. That company was in the knife business 1864-1925. My grandfather brought a couple Finnish Puukko's and a couple similar ones in 1911 or 1912 when the family immigrated from Finland. I wish I knew who has them now.

Barrel knives are popular with a lot of collectors and there are usually a number of them on ebay at any given time. you might want to check the Scandi section on Knifeforums.com as there are a few collectors there.
