Paragon Double Barrel Heat Treating Furnace

Paragon Double Barrel Heat Treating Furnace
Why is the Paragon Double Barrel Heat Treating Furnace the same price as the
Paragon KM24D Furnace @ USAknifemaker ?? why should I not get a Double Barrel? is it only the operating cost difference??

The double barrel furnace is made especially to handle gun parts, the KM24D is made for knife makers. Basically, the DB is much wider, that's about all the real difference there is. Save some money, buy the KM24D...

I can't really see it that way. Maybe, if you made large batches of knives but it will be pretty difficult to get a large batch out of there and quenched I would think. And, the heating elements on my KM24D have doubled in price and then some since I've had my oven, I think they are pushing $100 now and they are a pain to replace. I can only imagine that a bigger oven would just add to those issues ....
