Pop's Demo Day
Yesterday, Dec 07, about 60 Knifemakers and lovers of knives from Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, gathered at Pop's Knives and Supplies for a day of demonstrations and good food.
Those doing demos were Walter Brend, Geno Denning, Wayne Hensley, Wayne Hendrix, Marvin Poole, and John Poythress. Pop & Kay had snacks galore and to top it off had lunch catered with some of the best Bar-B-Cue Pork and Chicken that I have ever had. While the guys did the "knife thing", I enjoyed the day talking with Doris Daniel, Cindy Denning, and Kay. Kay did a great job helping Pop get everything set up, especially in the face of loosing her father earlier last week. We do extend our deepest sympathy to Kay and Pop in their loss. If you did not make it to Pop's Saturday, you will have to keep an eye on this forum for a posting for next year's Demo Day at Pop's.

Sorry I missed this. Family commitments kept me away, but maybe next year I'll be able to make it. Sounds like everyone had a great time.
