not sure if this is a kit...
I see people posting fixed blade builds so what the heck...
This is a blank I got from Premium Knife Supplies, 440c. I reprofiled it more to my liking and gave it a satin finish. Birdseye maple scales applied over thin cherry liners, cherry and ebony accent, stainless pins. Comments and criticism always appreciated. Thanks! Michael |

Beautiful work Michael.....
The Cherry liners are great looking (so is the rest of the knife). Fine Woodworking meets knifemaking........ cool! Mike |

Thanks guys!
I'm also a woodworking hobbyist and Im one of those people who never throws away off-cuts. So I've got a few boxes of scraps to pick from for bolsters and accents. I had wanted to try thin wood liners and I think it worked out well. This knife was made for a roundtable in another forum and the recipient seemed very pleased with it. Michael |
