No. You drill a hole using a #53(.0595) drill, then tap the ball in.
Press fit. |

The ball is pressed into the lock with the ball standing above the lock the same thickness as the washer. Example if the washers are .010 thick, the ball should stand proud .010 above the lock.I hope this helps. Dan
