Scout

I have not posted much because I had signed up for my first show and was frantically trying to get everything done for it. I had two of these at the show, this one with an ironwood handle and another with a black ash handle. They both sold so I will be making more of these! I call this model the scout. This is not a very good picture but I will try to get a better one after I make one more. Anyway let me know what you think.



The blade is O1 with ironwood scales.

David, after you told me about this Knife on the phone I just came to take a look. Looks like you done good bud. Whats all the specs on this one ? Is it Flat or Convex ?

As far as the pic taking goes, I think thats a whole new ball game. My hat goes off to those that have perfected it.....like Coop ! It will come though. Congrats on the Show success. Better get busy for Vegas.

Thanks Shane! Yeah, I have to get MUCH better at the picture thing. And here I thought knifemaking was all about making knives. No one told me I was signing on for sewing, leatherwork, photography, ....

This one has a 3 1/2 inch flatground blade with a diagonal plunge. (I threw in the plunge comment because with the glare I'm not even sure if it's visible)

This one sold quick so I am making a few more like it for Vegas. Just out of curiousity, who from the forums plans on having a table (or just coming) at that show? That way I can look for you there!

Unfortunately I don't have a cell phone but as soon as I know my table number I will post it. For the last show I did not know the number until I got there but this sow looks like that might be different. I will look foreward to meeting you in person!!
