Unhappy New SafeKeeper

I bought a SafeKeeper II Push Dagger a few years back. It's the shiny one before they went to "bead blast" at the time one could NOT get a SafeKeeper I so when I saw the SafeKeeper I on Ebay a week or so ago I ordered it. This is clearly not as nice a knife. It has a very nice grip maybe even better than the old one BUT the blade is shaped on one side only??? Like a Japanese Sushi knife?? Also the knife is actually a tad smaller than the old SafeKeeper II???? It is clearly a "cheaper" knife. Now don't get me wrong it is very sharp and probably would penatrate better in a thrust then the older wider version. Are the Cold Steel SafeKeepers "Push Daggers" changed forever? Anyone else seen one of these or better yet anyone know where I can get a REAL SafeKeeper I??
