EBay Randall White Tenite apparently sold for $13,000 ?

The Ebay White Tenite that was for sale on the site for a couple of years apparently sold for $13,000.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Randall-Kni...p2047675.l2557

Has to be the 2nd highest price for an Ebay Randall knife ?

It was a $16,000 BIN or best offer . The offer accepted was Exactly $13,000.
There is a way to find out exactly what the accepted offer was.

Ok. Instead of leaving it a mystery, tell us "the way to find out"

william768, please tell us all how you can find out what the real price that was paid.

It shouldn't be a secret... , should it?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

David

If you have an item saved in your "watched items", when it sells, eBay sends you a notification stating it as such. I save MANY rare Randall auctions just for record.......

Hi David .

So here it is .......

1. Go to the item
2. Go to "see other Items" ( from seller ) on top right paige under sellers ID.
3. On that page you go to left tab and click " sold listings"
4. On "sold listings" there is a "price box" option. On that option you very simply go inserting different price ranges until you get it down to EXACT PRICE paid .

On this example if you put in $12,999.98 to $12,999.99 , nothing comes up . If you put $13,000.00 to $13,000.00 item comes up because that is EXACTLY what it sold for .

BTW- This works every time because i have tried it using a buyers account i have and looking at my sellers account ( william768) . The listings that i sold with a best offer option . Does not fail .

If you go to the site i listed above and put the auction number in the box it shows the amount of the accepted offer. It also gives a link to all the offers made on the item. Looking at the subject item of this post it looks like the seller rejected a previous higher offer of $14k. I suppose this info can be taken with a grain of salt cause we don?t know what could be going on behind the scenes or what it truly sold for unless you are the seller or buyer.

It does seem to work. I just tried it with some items i accepted best offers on .

I have been using my method for quite a while now because i simply stay on Ebay's page and am going by eBay info . Never leave eBay site and get info off it.

But the site you mention does seem to work .

That lady was pretty inflexible IMO .

She had a 14K offer , declines it and later accepts a 13K offer ? From THE SAME buyer ? That info might not be accurate. The 13K selling price is .

I eBay messaged her a couple of times in the last couple of years( ? , think it has been on eBay for atleast 2 years ) and can tell you she was a bit obnoxious, rude and condescending .

I guess with holiday season approaching she had 2nd thoughts and decided to be a bit more reasonable ?

Like Bill, I am surprised it brought that much. Not that it isn't a neat item, but not that neat. There are far more interesting pieces that become available for less. My .02

Hi Tat2bill!
I thank you for your answer, but unfortunately it's not for my question. I was asking william768 how the accepted offer price for a Buy It Now could be found.

Thanks william768 (can we call you Bill?) for your help.

The method you outlined seems to work on the ended items I've tried. As you mentioned there's a bit of trial and error involved until you enter the correct sale price.

So thanks very much to Bill and Bill! That two Bills, two Bills for one...

Happy Black Friday!

David
