Smile Newbie here with some Randall’s I just bought. Little help! Lol

Hello
Jay here and I have just recently started to buy some Randall knives and see that there is a huge learning curve. I have collected vintage watches and know that some creative people can make things interesting. (To put it politely)

I have a few knives I would like to know age and authenticity and value
Is that ok to ask these things here?
Thanks

Hi Jay!

Welcome to the Knife Network! It's great to see a fellow Canadian here!

I'm sure folks would love to see your Randalls and will do their best to help you out.

You should wait a couple of days to post photos as there is a waiting period for new members. You can follow the instructions for including images in your post which are posted at the top of this forum.

I look forward to seeing your RMK!

Cheers!

David

Sure I have one for you
I got a weird looking Springfield Randall that is not stamped and the blade looks like a bayonet blade.
The guy I bought it from says he bought it many years back from Bo Randall himself. And says it was post ww2.
I have looked at a few of these Springfield knives and none look like this blade but the rest looks like it is possible to have come from the guy that was making the Springfield. ( the weird colored rings and guard and the nut)
So question is were there any bayonet blades repurposed into Springfield Randalls??

Thanks
