(photos) Redefined my old survival knife "Desert"

Hi everyone,

I redefined the Desert knife, I think it is now close to what a good survival knife should be.

Specs:
Style: Desert.
Steel: "O1" Carbon, N690 Stainless Steel.
Blade Finish: Hand Rubbed Finish.
Handle: G10, Micarta, Color liner.
Hardware: Bolts.
Sheath: Kydex, Multipurpose "S1" Leather Sheath.

OVERALL LENGTH: 11.023" (280mm).
BLADE LENGTH: 6.299" (160mm).
THICKNESS: N690 7/32" (5,5mm), "O1" carbon 6mm.

ATTENTION: this is custom knives, not mass production knives.
ALL THE SPECS CAN BE CUSTOM

Any questions about my knives feel free to email me:

Thanks
Mario Leao

Wow, really nice, love any military style knife and yours is really superb.

I am especially interested in the sheath and how you constructed it. Any details/info would be greatly appreciated. I need to make one similar soon. I would like to make a rendition of yours! Much thanks!

Nicely done. Looks very strong and functional. And I agree, love the sheath!

Seriously Hard core looking blade, Mario. Well done!

Is there a purpose to the hole at the front of the grip?

In survival that hole will be useful to tie the knife to a stick and make a spear. Very useful.

Thanks for the comment.

I am also a huge fan of military-style knives, and that looks about ideal for my taste. Excellent work on the knife and the sheath.
