The first one is made with ostrich leg leather that was glued to a veg tan backing. The Ostrich leather was originally another shade of brown but I overstained it with a light brown stain to match the veg tan leather. This is the second sheath that I laced with a basket weave pattern. I got the holes closer toghether on this one and got a tighter weave. I like this pattern but it takes time, about 2 1/2 hours for this sheath, and is a real lace hog. I don't think that I'll use it that often.

The second one is a pouch sheath for a camp knife that I made. Used a new basket weave stamp and a new border stamp to creat the diagonal band. Highlighted the imprent on the band with a majic marker. Also used a texturing stamp on the border of the sheath. This is the first sheath that I made with a triple loop lacing. I think that this is the pattern that I'll probably be using the most. It lays flatter than the double loop and is quicker and uses less lace than the basket weave lace.
