2HP DC Motor for sale or trade

This is a brand new motor 1750 rpm draws only 4 amps. The problem is that it is rated at 115 volts.I have two of these motors and will trade one for a controller that will work with same.

How about a variac and a bridge rectifier? You could get variable DC voltage. My variac is 0-140 VAC, 5 amps and with a bridge rectifier converting it to DC it seems to me that it would work OK. I am not a DC motor expert but it may do the trick. I only paid $35.00 on e-bay for the variac.

Anyone else have input as to if this would work?

Oh that brings up the thing that I'm not sure how to tackle. This motor is shunt wound. It has the two wires that connect to the brushes and two wires that go to the field windings.

I tried to contac you via email, but you have none listed or a link. I would prefer to buy the motor outright from you, if you want to sell it. My email is listed in my profile.

Sorry about posting this ,but..... after taking a closer look at this motor I have discovered that I need glasses. The motor is a .2 not a 2 horsepower. Sorry about that. I feel like an idiot.
