2 motors on same vfd?

I currently have a KBAC-27D vfd controlling a 2HP motor for my 2x72. Im looking to build a disc sander and Im trying to figure out if I can, and what is the best way to connect my new disc sander motor to the same VFD. Seems like most people match HP of the motors when they do this, I'm wondering if that is a must. I dont necessarily need or want a 2HP disc grinder but if thats the only way it is what it is. Id appreciate any input you all have. Thanks!

I have two grinders attached to the same VFD. In terms of actually running the motors, you COULD go with different hp motors, but since the VFD has internal trim pots, which should be adjusted to whatever motor is being operated..... you'd likely have whichever motor the trim pots are "tweaked" to running great, and the other motor running off those same settings, which would likely cause poor performance, if the motors were not identical.

I have a page on my website detailing how to wire two motors to one VFD..... http://www.caffreyknives.net/1_vfd_2_motors.html
