Help identifying old knife in silver and stylized carvings.
Hello everyone.
I'd like your wisdom to identify this knife. My grandfather gave it to me as a present. He doesn't know what it is. He bought it really cheap when he was in Iraq as a diplomat and he started some kind of collection. But he already got rid of it. The style of knife is called a jambiya, common throughout the middle east and India, each area having its own variant. Looks to be of recent manufacture...
