I am so close!

After months of saving and buying things and building stuff, all I am waiting for is some belts for my KMG to get here, and then I will be making some sparks fly! Finally got some shop space, so hopefully I will be trying to remember everything Ed taught me real soon.
Thanks Ed for all the help and advice over the last 8 months!
It was pretty exciting firing up the grinder motors the first time, especially since I did not use the Caffrey approved long stick method of flipping the switch!

Come om mail and bring me some belts! And the dang 400 grit Norax are back ordered!!

Congrats Tom. If you can get those 50gr. that Ed likes, they'll get you 90% of the way.

Take care, Craig

ALRIGHT TOM!!! Am I to assume that the grinder wiring worked out OK? I've been looking to the west, and haven't seen any mushroom clouds yet....so I'm guessing everything worked?

Looking forward to hearing about and seeing some pics of whats to come!

the grinders work like a charm! I had an electrician buddy talk me through the hook up over the phone, so there was no smoke whatsoever. I have some 50 blaze on the way and the 120 and 220 flex belts too, so i should be able to get something accomplished. I may just have to bang out a bunch of blades to see if my anvil remembers what to do. it is 100 years old and a little rusty.

hopefully I will get some shop time this afternoon and we will see what happens!
