KGA meeting

KGA Newsletter Five

The July meeting will be at John Martins home on the 24th of July. It will start about 10:00 AM and will go till 2:00 PM. For the ladies, Barbara Martin is having a Southern Living party so don?t be bashful about bringing the wife or girlfriend. I will be cooking fish for the main course and John is furnishing the paper goods to eat with. It will be a covered dish affair. John is trying to have the local paper cover the event and hopefully get us some good press. Please let me know if you are coming so I can bring enough fish to fry. the email is ray@rakerknives.com .

Meeting in Oklahoma email Sweany sweanymd@yahoo.com or Ray Kirk if you are interested

Jerome Anders Mastersmith will be giveing a Journeyman test to Rob Weber.

John has a homebuilt power hammer that I hear is really good. Bring cameras's

Sweany,
I was wondering if you ever read your email.
John lives in Okmulgee, Ok and this should be a very interesting meeting as John Martin is going to talk to the press and see if they might want to do an article about it. I will be sending out the newsletter to all the members as there are some that don't have email or use a computer. The newsletter will also be posted on my web site if any one would like to read about it.
Have a good day, Mike

El Reno Special

Mike I am going to try to go there also .. John has done an outstanding job on his trip hammer and some of his engraving on pearl is simply beautiful. It is just another oppotrunity for a bunch of knife people to get together and just visit and see what everyone else is attempting to do. I was sorry to move away from Ray's area but welcome any chance I can get to get back with some of the guys. Mike Miller

El Reno, Oklahoma

Sweany,
Miller moved to El Reno, Oklahoma. That isn't too far but is far enough to be a bother. He used to stop by to test my cows or something like that when he was in Wagoner, Ok.
It will be good to see you all.
