Hi Art,
Have you tried the CKD for sale forum? What kind of knife are you selling? __________________ Les Robertson Custom Knife Entrepreneur Field Editor for Blade Magazine www.robertsoncustomcutlery.com |

Hi, Thanx for the suggestion, I saw the link right after asking the question. Day late $ short.
To answer your ? The best guess, with help from the CKD forum is: a approx. 6" skinner with the marking EL in an oval on one side and 30 in an oval on the other. It's in a hand made Tree Stump Leather case. I don't think is the original case. It is in great condition except minuscule makings on one side of the blade from some surface rust that may have been taken off. Just a guess, dealer that traded it to me thought so. May have been left in originak sheath without cleaning. The marks whatever DO NOT go into the metal. May have been made byEarl Franklin Leavitt, Jr. from Maine? I have a picture I was going to put on E-Bay but can't figure out how to put it here Art |
