I'm still learning how to make this place work.

Thanks, I don't turn out a lot of stuff, and it's not all knives. But as I do any knives or knife related tools, I keep the board posted.

Does the doors hinge at both ends?
It looks like a ventury system, not a blower, right?

Yes the doors hinge front and back.

It uses homemade Ventury type burners, built to Ron Riel's design. I bought pre-made stainless burner flares. The rest of the burner assembly was made from plumbing pipe fittings.

The chamber floor is two 2700 deg fire bricks sitting on an inch of Kaowool. The sides, top and doors are lined with two inches of Kaowool. The bricks and Kaowool are coated with ITC 100 on the inside of the chamber.

I can weld cable at about 12psi of propane.
