Old metal knife and metal sheath found
Came across this in a yard sale and would like any information that would help me research it. It's all metal including sheath, the stones don't look real, and there are no markings other than those three stars mid blade. It looks handmade from the inside of the handle. it has a bracket on the sheath which I believe is because it's a boot knife and attaches to the boot. |

You're image is not coming through - the clip (what you call a brackett) on the sheath does not necessarily mean a boot knife - such clips were common on 19th Century belt knife sheaths as well..
