Timascus warpage
Junko is finishing a little folder off and she flame colored the Timascus. Afterwards, we discovered that the bolster had warped so now when the knife is assembled, it will pull the liner shifting blade position as well as opening and closing is not smooth. The warpage is about 1/64'th. Not a lot but if she flattens the bolster, it will then shift the dovetail contact for the handle scale.
Thoughts on how to remedy this? __________________ Mike |
