My new workshop photos.

I thought I'd post these here. I renovated my meagre workshop a week ago and I'm putting these shots together for my upcoming website update. I'd invite any comments or suggestions if anyone has any. I'm just a bit excited about how much better the space works for me now. Jason.

Jason, I thought *I* had a lot of plates spining and spent most of my time working. Well, I tip my hat off to you, because comparatively, I'm a lazy bum! How you consistently produce all those knives, edit and photograph great pics, take the time to make this great shop, tend to the garden--all while you aren't working at your FULL-TIME job!

It makes my head spin....8o 8o 8o

Thanks for the peek!

Jason,

Like Coop, I'm in awe of your ability to get done what you do. You really know how to pack a room full.

Thanks for the pics.

Bob Sigmon

PS - I'm even lazier than Coop judging by your schedule. Thanks for the inspiration.

Question

Jason,

Looks good. When do you expect to upgrade your web site?

Finally sent some knives (4) away to get heat treated last friday.

I spoke to a reputable maker at an Arms and Militaria Fair in Brisbane the other week. They suggested that a M F Dippert Pty Ltd in Sydney did as good a job as Hills, but he experienced a quicker turn around with them so I speared them off to them.

Just waiting on a reply paid post bag to arrive now.

I just wanted to make a couple of knives, just to see if I could. Only problem is though I think I can improve them, and I think I can make a better one, and I am not 100% happy with them, and I could make one for hunting and one for camping and one for fishing and then the young bloke might need one for fishing and then .......

Is this some type of disease?

Mmmm.. YES. Those are classic symptoms. There are other signs - perpetually doodling knife designs, pining and fretting till the next workshop session ... THERE IS NO CURE !!

Slightly different disease from KNIFE KNUT. I think there are 2 subgroups also - GRINDER MANIA and HAMMER HAPPY. Both can co-exist, and cause some psychological conflict.

Jason.
