multiple images

My camera is a Nikon coolpix 4500 and my photo shop is Adobe 2.0 how do I get multiple images of the same knife (open , closed , file work , etc ) on the same 5x7" photo Ted

There is an easy way to do it. Take pics of the knife you want in all the different variations. Now, go to "file > open". When you do that, you will of course be at the point where you click on the pic you want opened. Hold the 'Ctrl' button and this will allow you to select multiple images to open.

Select your polygon tool and use it on one of the photos to 'cut out' the part of the photo you want (example: use it to outline the closed knife in the pic). Once it is outlined, you can select the 'move' tool and drag it to another pic (like the one of the knife open). Then you have two seperate pics of the knife on one. Do that as many times as you need.

Cant seem to get my thoughts together tonight, so if that doesnt make sense, let me know and I will try again....or let somebody else explain it

Richard's version is short and sweet and basically correct.

I don't know what features you have or don't have in PhotoShop 2.0 but here is a tutorial I wrote specifically for this procedure.
