My #4-5 .......
I got another beautiful knife last weekend!
It?s a #4-5 from 1972 with some documents of the order! Nice piece of history and I really like this blade shape! The knife: The documents: __________________ Peter Westerwald/Germany RKS #5889 |

Great looking older knife plus the correspondence, a bonus. Congratulations __________________ ----------- Rod Brown RKS 3846 |

WOW Peter!
I'm dyin' here! Another great find. That's a classic early 70's "Skinner" that looks to be just like it came out of the shop. What a bonus to receive all the neat documentation that goes with the knife too. I really like the handwritten note by Bo Randall, mentioning the $5.00 deposit. I do like your photography as well. Thanks for sharing. Now if I may suggest, you need to obtain an original RMK hat/coat pin for your display, although the more contempory one (also discontinued) in your pics is more suitable for more recent knives. Can you spot the differences? Here's one: Original - Later version - Cheers! David __________________ It takes less effort to smile than to frown ! |

That's very cool! By the way, Bo indeed wrote the note but Mrs. Landings signed the Memo letter.
