Balance?


How Important is balance in a folding knife? and how do you achieve good balance?

2 kinds


I reckon there's 2 kinds...
- the knife balance, which is reasonably important...nice (IMO) to get the thing balanced on yer forefinger
- the bank balance, which is what you are spending on materials, machinery etc. Best kept hidden from spouse

I like to have most of the weight in the "handle". If the folder is designed correctly this will happen naturally as most of the materials are there.
