Alberta fossil damascus

Hi gang!

I'm about done with my first attempt at a frame handled knife. I used some of the fossil damascus we made at Jim's and some of the koa that he stabilized. That koa is beautiful Jim!!!

Wow, beautiful frame handle! I love koa wood and it just plain makes that knife look bad a** and beautiful! Congrats!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I think the hardest part was figuring out the best method for cinching up the frame against the guard so that it is square (besides not buggering up the guard finishing up the handle). Ed, I slopped out my first time, trust me |:@)! Jim, that koa was stabilized perfectly. I sliced off the scales out of a thicker block and it was completely saturated. Thanks, again guys!

Dana,

I know many knives are far from Perfect , However I think you have Knocked this out of the park and to me it is Perfect well done and thank you for sharing it with us .
