Thought I would show off my hard work for the last couple of weeks.
Blade-A2 tool steel/flat ground Handle- black micarta Bolsters-brass Blade length- 3 1/4 overall lengtg- 7" All I need to do now is sell it to pay for more material... I think you will find that A2 is a great steel. Takes an incredible edge and is very stable in heat treat. It is one of my favorite steels

A2 is a great steel, 95% of the knives I make are made of A2. I've never had any problems with rust, but it will discolor over time. If taken care of properly you shouldn't have any problems. Bob Cannon __________________ May God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. |
