bird and trout
I've been lurking here for some time, so it's probably time I stepped out the shade and into the light.
I started making knives about 2 1/2 years ago after going to the Australian Knifemakers guild show in Melbourne. I walked in there with an interest in knives and walked out with an obsession, but I'm sure i'm not the first to have that happen. I've just started to sell a few knives so I thought I'd post my latest and get a few other opinions. Details on the knife, 440c 58-59 HRC burgundy micarta scales stainless bolts Overall length is approx 7 3/4 ins. Sheath is 8-9oz vegtan and all work except HT is my own. [IMG][/IMG] |

Many thanks for the kind words, you've given me a lot of encouragement.
I'd also like to thank everyone who's ever posted a tutorial or hints and tips on this forum. They have been very useful to me and I'm sure a lot of other guys just starting out. Its a rare situation where the less experienced can pick the brains of ones who are at the top of the tree and get such open and honest answers. Again, many thanks, John |
