The micarta turned out fantastic Ariel! I like the pattern of the damascus and the sheath looks great also. I noticed on another forum that Mick Strider was impressed with your micarta making skills. Congratulations on another great knife and i'll be looking forward to more of your artistic creations.

Interesting! Looks to be almost 24" OAL. As a right-side dominanat I could see carrying this from from a sling-belt on my left side. The unusual handle angle (like that of 'Bowie #1') would then tilt forward for easier grabbing with my right hand. A wrist-loop would be important given the use I'd like to put it to - slashing through the woods or jungle, vanquishing 'mine enemies' and generally feeling well equipped with this blade. It's a pretty cool blade!

11" cutting edge, almost 12" blade total. 16.5" overall knife length.
The blade is a O1 sandwich between layers of 1010 and 1070. Regards, Ariel |
