Case commemorative set (pics)
Hey guys. My brother and I got this set of Case knives from my uncle when we were young kids. (86-87) The 2 knives represent us brothers. The box is kinda roughed up a bit, but the knives have never been removed from the box. I was just curious if any of you guys could give me some info, and I just wanted to share. Thanks.

Josh-- Nice, very nice. I own two Case commerative knives; a sweet stag-bone Wharncliffe and a caramel jigged-bone trapper much like the one shown. They came in boxes that remind me of this one and with certificates.

That is a nice keeper set. A gift of a knife is a wonderful thing. Interesting that the paper work says improper sharpening voids the guarantee. Keeping a spring loaded over time is said to weaken the spring. That position looks to be safe tho. Walk and talk sets the value on minty examples such as those.
Snooping aroung on the Case collector club or asking on their forum might tell you more than you ever wanted to know. __________________ "Many are chosen, but few are Pict" "The doer alone, learneth" NT Neo-Devo |

I think i may do that Roc.
I made my way over to the bladeforums and asked Mr. Bernard Levine what he thought about my set. Not really the nicest of fellows is he? Anyway, thanks for the kind words and advice. I'll make my way over to the Case forum. |
