Auction knife

This is the knife I made for the auction at the Slatfork conference. Tihis auction is the major fundraiser for the club. If any of you are around the OK area the Saltfork is putting togehter a trailer with tools, anvils and forges to teach basic smithin. This is dang good deal folks.

Excellent Mike! Top shelf work. Thanks for showing it.

PS--I got a Mike Sweany neck knife in a previous IITH--whoever's name he draws will be in for a treat.

Stormcrow, it's a pewter guard. I wrapped paper around it to the rough shape I wanted and then poured the pewter.

On the blade side I left the guard in a as pored condtion.

Pewter is nifty. This was old key chain fobs and a little babbet to make it a wee bit harder.

Thanks guys.
