Loose Kydex over time??

hey guys i use kydex sheaths for my neck knives. recently i had a customer contact me and tell me that that kydex sheath has become loose. when he first got the sheath it was very tight, but now he can just turn it over and the knife falls out!

is this a problem with the kydex?
did i do something wrong when i made it?

thanks guys
Captain

He may have left it near an extreme heat source. That will cause it to re-form, possibly allowing the material to expand. Tell him to reheat it (300F) for 30 seconds or so and then pinch it around the object until it cools a bit. Once he's done that, it'll be good as new.

I agree with Alex. 99.9% of the time when a kydex sheath becomes "loose" it's because the owner did something like leave it in a vehicle with the sun shining on it, set it next to a heater vent, or something else of that nature. The only other time that I have ever seen a kydex sheath "loosen up" was if the knife that's put into it was not designed with kydex in mind. That might seem a little vague, but not all knife designs are correct for/go well with kydex....
