Help Identifying!
I recently acquired two knives from an estate and I was hoping I could get some help identifying their origin, age, etc..
Thanks in advance! -Chris |

We used to have some pretty good historians on here, but I think most of them have died off. Those don't seem to have any identification on them - like the maker or the model number. The sheaths look to be old and in pretty poor shape, and the stitching appears to be done by hand. The first knife looks like the guard is welded. That can't be very old if that's the case. That may not be the original handle either. The snake like knife with a brass guard looks like something from Pakistan or Indonesia that would get sold to tourists.
Good luck with the ID. Hopefully someone will recognize the style. __________________ God bless Texas! Now let's secede!! |
