Punchullu's - intuitive self defense
Hi All,
Today I have 2 Punchullu?s for sale, finished them last night. Both are made from 3/16ths O-1 and tempered to a RC 58-59.
They are 2 inches across and 3 inches high. The width of the handles are on both knives approximately ? of an inch. Distance from the edge of the handle to the top of the blade is 1.75 inches, both are extremely solid and comfortable in the hand. The scales are made from Zebra wood and the other from Makore, and are finished of with 2 1/8 inch brass pins. I designed these as close in self-defense knives and they work very well in that instance. If you think about it, it makes no difference how you strike something. Regardless of how you hit it, it will slice and take bites out of it. It probably gets around the double edge knife issue if you live in a location where that?s an issue. It only has one edge there is no point on it. Legal Beagles feel free to chime in.
Price for each knife is $55.00 shipped to the lower 48 add another $10.00 for a custom Kydex Punchullu sheath. (recommended) See the pictures and description of the sheath below.
Why you want to purchase one of my Sheaths for this knife. They will work both left and right-handed. When wearing this the knife the sheath goes between the belt and the body and will stay snug in that position. Removing it only requires getting any two fingers between the sheath and the scales and it will pop into your hand. The last five pictures illustrate how to use it. (These picture are not of the two knives that you are looking at. Yours will work in exactly the same fashion.)
Thanks for looking and have a happy safe New Year.
