Have you thought about going to one of your local cabinet shops. Something like that they would problay give you for free. If you are not sure where some are just stop by one of the big box stores and ask them how does their installation for them. Best of luck to you.

TJ,

I may have some, though I'm not sure of the thickness as 1/2 inch seems a little thin to me. I'll check dimensions tonight after work.

You can get all the Corian pieces you want direct from Corian at www.coriansamples.com. You can get 4X4" samples 1/2" thick in any available color. A great way to get corian. I use to split the pieces with a bandsaw into 1/4" slabs 2" by 4". Getting 4 scales out of each sample piece.

I pulled about 25# of the stuff out of my local counter-makers dumpster for free. They told me to take as much as I could since they have to pay to have it hauled off. Porblem with that is you will need to find a sufficiently strong glue to join the pieces since they only use 1/4''. I am almost done on a skinner with some black /sparkle corian-I'm only at 150 grit in the handle polishing but it already looks unbeleiveable. I love that stuff so much. If you get some remember that a 200 degree oven for a few minutes will turn in pliable(watch the heat of your sanding equipment also)... I like to use that to cheat when I don't quite have a perfect plane on a full tang blade. I heat it, and clamp it to the handle and when it cools it fits perfectly over the metal and is ready for rivets and epoxy.
