Gaucho Testing Knife

Hello,

I?m posting the pic of de 1st Pantanal Brazilian SBC Hammer-in.

This knife is an integral bolster knife, forged from a 5/8" 5160 round bar, and continues in a workhorse ...in my barbecues...

Congrats on your number one hammerin. May the tradition continue for many years. Nice bend on that blade. You say it is still useable?

Thanks, I hope that tradition can continues.

Yes, the knife is still useable! After the cutting tests (Rope, soda can, 2x4", and the 90? flex) I flex again and correct the blade. The blade isn't perfect, but it's funcional for the friday's barbecue in my Headquarter!

Thanks again, soonly i will post new pics.

Done!

The knife (after 90? flex) and the hand forged barbecue hook.

That's just a great looking knife, and obviously it's a tough using blade as well. Nice!
