A Dave Cole knife question
Hello, today I ran across what I have to say is probably for me and in my opinion, the most beautiful knife I have ever seen. I couldn't understand why I wasn't able to get the message to send to the maker trying to inquire about having a folder made out of the same materials. Trough continued research and finding the answer on this site, to my dismay I discovered this talented maker is no longer with us. His name is Dave Cole with dcknives. The knife?it is on his website and is a bluish tinted damascus with a blue handle material. Does anyone what this handle material is? And is the bluish tint on the blade from the blade material, a heat treating method or a chemical etching of the blade? Any help from you experts would be greatly appreciated. I'm thankful photos exhist of Mr. Cole's amazing craft.
