Model 23 "Gamemaster"

Shhhhh! This is one of my favourite Randalls.

Please don't tell my others, they have a tendancy to get jealous. Of course, I feel that way about all my Randalls, so that keeps 'em happy.

This knife dates from circa 1989 and has a carbon steel blade, a very gnarly stag handle with finger grips, a nickel silver hilt and a duralumin butt cap. The sheath was made by Greg Gutcher's Sullivan's Holster Shop, Randall's official sheathmaker.

When I said gnarly stag, I meant gnarly!

And that's why I like it!

Now please, no Freudian allusions, especially from my Buddy, Buddy T.

THANKS Jeff, aka "Paladin"!

I am honoured to have this compliment first bestowed upon me here by someone like yourself. I just wouldn't feel right... oops, I mean not right, if I didn't get the proper recognition.

NOTE: For those of you who don't yet know me and my quirky sense of humour, I really do appreciate being known as "just ain't right"!

David

Mooseface, if you get a chance, could you take a closeup of the stag?

Moose,
The stag is wonderful, but I couldn't take my eyes of the shine of that blade. It's captivating. A Mod 23 you say? I gotta git me one a them!!!

Hey! Where's the icefishing smiley dude? Somebody should send him an invite.

Gamemaster

Mr. Moosehead,

Great Pictures.

I haven't figured out how to do it yet, but will in time. Left the other forum as "Blue7570"--my badge number. A Very Good Friend told me that most have came over here..from other forum. Wahoo!

My new name is 2Shot. Won't go into the details why...

Real glad to join you, and the other Randallites!

Kent

Hi Kent!

Welcome to the Knife Network! I hope you will find the forums here interesting, informative and fun.

When you're ready to post your pics, don't forget to try using the instructions for single and multiple images which are "stuck" at the top of each Randall forum.

David

Well folks!

I took the plunge and joined www.FotoTime.com, as I had reached the 5.0 MB limit of attachments that the Knife Network allows us to upload from our computers.

However, before doing so I had removed about 37 of my photos from my earliest posts to make room for new ones. Since this was unacceptable to me, I decided to give FotoTime a shot based upon the recommendations of our own professional photographer "SharpbyCoop" here on KF and fantastic amateur shutterbug, Buddy "Bug" Thomason!

I have to say I wish I had taken their advice earlier. It's as easy as pie to use FotoTime to upload your URLs to the Knife Network, and one can size them for better viewing.

Here at the beginning of this thread are some examples of deleted photos of my beloved "Gamemaster" which I have replaced (with two exceptions) with FotoTime pics. They're the same photos, just bigger.

Enjoy!

Cheers!

Moosehead

NICE BIG pictures and great shots from interesting angles! Looks like you loaned your knife to your little brother.
