A few questions from a kit newbie...

Before I place an order, I was hoping that some of you fine gentlemen would answer some questions I have about the DDR3 BL knife kit. I have made many knives, but no folders or kits. I would like to know what to expect. I am confident of my abilities, so I'm not concerned about a difficulty rating.
How finished is this kit? For example, is everything already profiled. Is the blade heat treated and are the screw holes drilled and tapped? Or is it a case of just screwing everything together, no fun in that! Any civil response will be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty much ready for assembly. At a minimum, you can assemble it and be on your way with knife in pocket. Or, you can go whole hog with filework, extra polish on the surfaces, liners, composite woods, etc. The sky's the limit.

You will need to finish any scales provided as they will be rough profiled. Thankfully ALL the metal components are fitted and finished.

That isn't to say you can't improve on their appearance--and that is the biggest appeal of these kits.

Dive in. You won't be dissapointed.
