I was finally able to order some 1084 from Aldo, they had 1/8 and 1/4, I think Eric is sending me some but I'm not sure.

So far one guy has told me his knife has been shipped. There's still plenty of time though, you can ship up to the 15th and not have to worry about being late ...

Hey Ray what do you think about making this a recurring/open opportunity? Everyone try and get this batch in on time, and then in the future as more noobs trickle in etc, as long as they pay shipping all three ways, why not. I'd be willing.

What is the best way to ship a knife?

Postal service, parcel post package is good enough but you might check the Priority Mail price as many times Priority may be less than a dollar more. Roll the blades up in paper and put enough newspaper or other padding in the box to keep them from moving around. If you want the blades back, put a return box inside with the blades and put postage on it or include some money to cover postage.

And for Pete's sake, include a piece of paper, card, something with your name and email address on it so we can contact you if we have questions and so we can give to the results of the test...

Thanks Ray I went to ship yesterday and realized it wouldn't fit in small flat rate box and post office was about to close so I decided to wait till tomorrow since it wouldn't ship on the 4th anyway. By the way we gonna chat on Sunday
