Sound Cards

Help.......Deleted my driver for my sound card in laptop and can't remember the make to find a driver..only thing i know is it's a Yamaha card....Is there any other ####### that work,like generic??

Make, model of laptop? This would allow us to find out what kind of sound chip is in it and possibly download a driver from the manufacturer. That would be best.

Sound card driver

I guess that you have already checked the recycle bin. If not there, go to the MS update site and see if they have a driver for you.
What operating system are you using? XP can usually recover from snafus like that.
The generic driver with the OS will usually work in a pinch.:confused: 8o
