May 15 meeting
John & I are looking forward to the 3rd meeting of the Georiga Custom Knifemakers' Guild, this Saturday (May 15) in Macon, Ga at the home/shop of Kathleen Tomey.
John has lined up several demos for the day, a lunch is being planned, and there is more business to take care of (one item is the election of President for the next year and a VP). We also will need to set the location and dates of the next meetings. We would like to hold these around the state so everyone can have one "close to home". If you would like to attend, but have not received any information, please feel free to contact John so we can send you the information. When you come, please come with ideas and suggestions for the development of the Guild. We are just "babies" and the more input we receive the better we can grow. Looking forward to seeing all of you this Saturday. John Poythress Interim President |

Mark,
THought you were going to keep the DC3. Something romantic about them old propellers. (Plus the burning oil reminds me of heat-treating.) You could always move back down here where you belong. But if we have to............what time do we meet in Hotlanta? If you set her down at McCollum, I can walk to the tarmac. __________________ Carl Rechsteiner, Bladesmith Georgia Custom Knifemakers Guild, Charter Member Knifemakers Guild, voting member Registered Master Artist - GA Council for the Arts C Rex Custom Knives Blade Show Table 6-H |
