Rounded Bevels

This may be a dumb question.I want to make a rounded bevel at the riccasso. Can I do this by placeing a round hammerhead in a vise face up and useing it as an anvil.and use a same size hammer to set my bevels. So that the bevel forms a half arch at the choils instead of a straight line.

Charles Ochs does it by knocking the scale off and setting the basic plunge radius with an angle grinder and then grinding vertically on a 3 wheel. Not sure how others do it. Another guy to ask would be Dan Farr.
