First Build - Western Skinner

Hi all,
This is my first completed knife assembly.
I built it from this kit: http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/produc...oducts_id=2323 I'm very happy with the quality of parts that came with it (blade and bolsters w/pins) and had fun! I learned a lot from this build and plan to continue.
I purchased the stabilized Fiddleback Maple scales from K&G Supplies.

Looks good. Don't you just love the knives from Knife Kits? I have made quite a few of these and people really like using them.

Cordless, since I can't do my own forging right now, I know I really appriciate the blades from KK.

Can't wait to finish this Kukri I'm working on.

Thanks, I agree... I also cannot do forging. The kits and blanks have been a great way for me to learn the nuances of assembly and finishing. I'm currently working on a DDR-3 and it's been going well. I've also ordered a piece of steel and hope to learn the process of stock-removal soon. But yeah, the blanks and kits from KK have gotten me addicted.
