Nice work, Rob. I love the two-part pins. Really works well with the wood. I'm not even going to get into the "marking" debate save to say I mark my knives, if I can. The one's I don't forge get an etched logo, the forged one's get a makers' stamp. I made it myself and it doesn't really tell you anything except that I can say it's mine. We had this conversation a couple of years ago, and I still think a mark of any sort is better than none at all. Some of my knives are so small that I can't put my stamp on it, so, yes, there are a few floating around out there without my mark. I collect antique guns, and you should see the cryptic marks some of the best-known gunsmiths of the 19th century used. Only an expert can decipher them. On the other hand there were those who put their full name and address on their guns, too. I'm sure they had the same arguments we are having today - just not by way of the internet. I guess they sat around a table at the local pub by candle light arguing the merits of having your name on a gun as opposed to just your initials or a cryptic mark... Carry on, Rob. You alone know what your knives should represent.
