Very nice, that engraving really sets it off. Did you do the engraving?
Thanks
Steve

Outstanding Michael! It appears to be an intregal, am I right? A very nice drop point, with beautiful embellishment. One of the close-ups was designed to let the observer study the engraved figure (which I did), but another great treat was looking at that plunge line area, as clean as it gets.

@steve,
no I'm not the engraver :-((( . „Kati Mau“ a young woman in east-germany, she is my preferred engraver over years.

@rhrocker,
right an full integral, this style of drop point knives is my favourite design, but it’s very luxuriously to
make this knife-or handle style.

sorry, but my english is not so perfect.

many thanks for posting.

michael

Right now you have two large areas with no texture - the blade and the ivory - that have very different colors. I wonder if you could come up with a scrim pattern that gave the same lightness level and a touch of blue as the blade (at least in the light you took the picture).

This is just random musings. I really like it as is.

@gabe,
The Idea to make a scrim pattern on ivory scales was discussed with customer. but could be not too much of a good thing?

I hope you can understand my language

thanks
michael
