Crucible Rex 95 & Rex AA
Hey guys-
My brother gave me a few bits of steel that look like someone turned into small lathe tools. The makings on them say Crucible Rex 95 and Rex AA. I've read the crucible data sheets, but they're Greek to me. So.... is this stuff worth anything i.e. blade material? If so, any clue as to how I would HT it? Thanks Mete! I figured they weren't good for knives, but I couldn't resist heating one up yesterday. I pounded the living crap out of it and it barely moved! Oh well - I guess I have a few more scraps for the bin.
