two shots...

Well... just two shots of LCC M/A Tactical. Any comments on that stuff? it's sure not custom blade, but still knife and I'd like to know what to start with to improve my pictures.

Piter, you're already off to a good start. Nice clear photo and good filling the frame with the knife. There is no question what is the main subject here. It's not for me to tell you what props to use or don't use, so you be the judge.

Two things I would suggest: For a contest entry, this knife and the surroundings are loaded with little dust particles. They are everywhere, and I can see them. Play with your editing and lose the dust (or clean it better to start with).

Everyone's monitor is probably a little different, but I would add in about 10% more contrast to make these jump out at me. The pic looks a little washed out.

All-in-all- it's a good job.

Coop

The dust was indeed everywhere when I've been taking this photo. That's what happens when you try to take a pic and have your house under TOTAL refinishing... polishing walls etc. But I can filter that out I think with software. Thanks!
