QUITE please

Does anyone know of a hydraulic pump that is quiet?

I am preparing to build a new press and am scrounging new materials. I am looking to find a pump that does not SCREAM like the last one I had and like many others I have seen in operation.

If you know of one, please advise.

Thanks,

Bob

Next you'll want a power hammer that don't clang.
Quiet hydrolics? When they are turned off they are quiet, but...

I have seen a noiseless wind chime with styrofoam chimes, guaranteed not to disturb the neighbors.

The motor and pump alignment is where most noise is generated, align the shafts perfectly with shims to quieten them down. A case around it might help too.

Having the pump outside would work, but hoses too long, keep hoses as short as possible.

Old fasion ear plugs fix it too. A good stereo maybe...

If you do find quiet hydrolics, PLEASE share it with us.
God bless,
Geno
