Dear Steve,

Like you knows, I am a great admirer of your work and of your person. I had pleasure personally in knowing him in Blade Show of Atlanta.
Thank you for the attention.

Romano

It was nice to meet you, Romano. It was great communicating as best we could. Thank you for visiting my table with your friends from Brazil.

At least one of them is handsome....the one on the left, that is. Hang, or should I say, "float" in there Mike! I surely do hope you can get some relief soon and hope to see you at SOS, too.

One year later, here's one that will be at Solvang with me. It's a 4HO (Hide-out, with what I consider to be knock-out stag):

Edmund Davidson has a book!

Solvang was a great show, as usual. It won't happen again until 2009, and with another format, so I'm excited to see how that turns out, in more ways than one.

On another note: Here is a photo from Edmund Davidson's new book, "Edmund Davidson - The Art of the Integral Knife." It is one amazing book about my friend and his work, who is certainly one of the great integral makers of the day. Edmund, and the new book will be at Table 23-1 with editor Dr. David Darom at the Blade Show in Atlanta at the end of May. The photo kind of tells it all, stop by and see the book and the men responsible, it's a beauty!

We'll see you at Blade again. I should make it to Solvang. There are makers there that don't come to Blade, and it's not that far away. Maybe next year...
